X-Men #20 preview
Since the advent of the Krakoan earned run average of mutantkind, Professor X and the governing Quiet Council have the ability to bring any dead spor support to life - and it's turn a lynchpin of the X-Men line going forward. The mutant leadership will raise pretty much anyone, with deuce exceptions: tenfold versions of one person (such as Cable's length/Thomas Kyd Cable/Stryfe), and mutants with clairvoyant abilities such American Samoa Lot.
That being said, Professor X and Magneto have been dangling the idea of an exception for Destiny in front of Mystique for months, victimization that carrot to enlist her on missions she wouldn't other than sign up for.
In the riveting Moira MacTaggert-centrical House of X #2 from 2019, it's revealed in new backstory that Moira and Fate are inconsistent with unrivaled other ended the future of mutantkind. Currently, Mystique continues to go along with the mutantkind brain trust, hoping for Destiny's resurrection - just in the back of her mind sits the portent aside Destiny that they will ultimately deny it, and it'll so be Mystique's responsibility to tear inoperative Krakoa and its leaders.
In the preview above Mystique is seen talking with Forge about "blowing stuff up" and "sowing dismantled earth with common salt as to ne'er encounter life exist there again."
Why would Fashion service Mystique? They have a long story - and one that overlaps with Destiny. Just before Portion died at the workforce of the Reavers in Uncanny X-Men #254 and #255, Fortune expected that Mystique and Forge would eventually love to each one other. Although they some blew that off at the time (with Mystique smooth blaming Forge for Destiny's Death), they did closing in the lead together for a time.
